Merck Serono is committed to bringing hope to people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. We have a long-term commitment to the development of innovative treatments to help manage neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s disease (PD).

Through groundbreaking science and patient-friendly drug delivery systems, we help patients with neurodegenerative diseases to live fuller and more satisfying lives. Our portfolio of currently marketed products includes Rebif®, which is approved for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis in over 80 countries worldwide, and in the United States, Novantrone® for
worsening forms of MS.

In addition, Merck Serono conducts extensive research in the area of neurodegenerative diseases in order to offer new therapeutic options to patients with high unmet medical needs. We currently have several late-stage projects in our R&D pipeline addressing unmet needs in MS and PD.
